Successful commissioning of a gas flare in Haigerloch

In spring 2026, EnvironTec was involved in the commissioning of a gas flare at the Haigerloch wastewater treatment plant in the Lower Eyachtal valley (Germany). The plant is part of a regional wastewater network and treats wastewater from several municipalities and districts around Haigerloch, Empfingen and Horb.

On site, service technician Rene Krebs was responsible for the complete commissioning of the FAII 50 gas flare, including connection piping and installation. After delivery in November 2025, the final commissioning took place at the customer’s premises on April 2, 2026.

The work carried out included connecting the gas supply lines, setting up and fixing the flare and installing the control cabinet in an external position. In addition, all sensors were connected, a comprehensive leak test was carried out and all switching elements were tested. A final test run confirmed that the system was functioning perfectly.

With the successful implementation, EnvironTec is making an important contribution to the safe incineration of excess sewage gases from wastewater treatment in the Lower Eyachtal and thus supporting the reliable operation of the plant.
